Batu Characteristics

When translated; Batu means “stone wood” and is imported from Malaysia.  It is often mistaken for Ipe as it has similar characteristics but it comes at a fraction of the cost.  The 5/4×6 decking is available at Nu-Forest is 8’-16’ lengths.  Accessories and other dimensions are available on a special order basis.
